The waitress recommended the pizzas when I wasn’t sure what to order, and that was a good shout. They were huge, easily the best I’ve had anywhere, and well priced. It’s a laid-back place where young and old, locals and holidaymakers all rub along together. The staff are fab, and so is the grub. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Bude, this has to be it. You won’t be disappointed.

The food and atmosphere downstairs were the real highlight, genuinely incredible. Our apartment was quiet, clean and cosy, with cracking views. We came for one night and ended up staying a week, which probably says it all. I hadn’t expected live bands, so that was a nice bonus. The bar staff were brilliant, and the locals made it feel like a proper community. Thanks, Dani, Pete and the team. I’m sure I’ll see you all again soon.

The early morning cliff walks, with sunrise over the hills, are hard to beat, and the evening beach walks gave us sunsets. I won’t say which apartment we had this time, but it was magnificent for space and perfect for our canines’ comfort and fun.

The room was much bigger than we expected, and the wet room and dog wash area downstairs made this one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The staff were lovely, friendly and chatty. We can’t think of one bad thing to say and can’t wait to come back. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
