The location worked really well, about a ten minute walk to the beach, Sainsburys, and the restaurants and bars. We arrived late, which was no problem, and had a very welcoming stay. The room was clean and had a snazzy coffee machine, and breakfast the next morning was great. A couple of small drawbacks: the bedroom could literally do with a lick of paint, and the bathroom was clearly dated. That was really it.

The owners seemed to be the only staff, or at least the main ones, and they were attentive, quick and friendly. The place has a quaint, quirky feel, though I didn't get the story since we were there for just one night. It's definitely dated and a bit dusty, but clean enough, very friendly, fairly priced and close to pretty much everything. Don't expect the Ritz, but for the price it's a decent place to stay.

The owners were a lovely, welcoming couple who made me feel at home straight away. They were on hand with local recommendations and happy to answer questions. My room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Bude Haven Hotel is just a stone's throw from the beach, with plenty of cafes and bars nearby. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, welcoming stay in Bude. Thanks to the owners!

Paul and Leasa gave excellent service and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was first class. The hotel is ideally placed for the town centre, surfing beaches and all the best spots. We'd highly recommend it and hope we can return soon.

Brian and Hilary were very good hosts, and we got a wonderful welcome. Our room was bright, very clean and had a good outlook. There was a pool table, a bar area and games, and breakfast was nicely presented with good choices. The town is only a short walk away.
