The garden and house are lovely, tucked away in such a pretty, quiet countryside spot. Our room felt warm and comfortable, and the big box of toys was a lovely extra for our baby. We came as a couple with our little one and really wanted for nothing. Kate was the best part, such a friendly, kind, helpful host. We'd love to come back soon.

Kate and John made our first flight in 2-1/2 years feel so worthwhile. From the minute we arrived, they made us feel welcome, which put me at ease since I'm not usually comfortable staying in a stranger's home. The place was cozy, and Peanut and Betsy the kitty cats added to that homely feel. Kate offered us breakfast with farm-fresh eggs and bacon, then took us to an 11th Century country church we'd never have found ourselves. With her guidance, we walked through the English countryside back to the village. My significant other's surname is Bures, so visiting Bures, England meant a lot to us. Kate and John made the trip even more special and cared most about us enjoying ourselves. I can't recommend the place enough. It really couldn't have been a better trip.

For breakfast, don't expect a full English, but the toast and muesli were just right for us. The value was fabulous, and the house is gorgeous with a lovely garden. Our room was really more of a suite, with a sort of ante/dressing room leading through to the shower room. That big shower was fantastic.
