Yew Tree House - B&B

Anne made us feel at home, and we had a wonderful stay with her. The breakfast the next morning was in a league of its own, tailored to what we liked and needed. Our room was huge and had everything we needed, and we also got some great dinner tips for a nearby pub. What a welcoming, impressive B&B.

We were still within walking distance of the main attractions, but the B&B was far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the essentials. Breakfast had an excellent choice and was prepared to a high standard. We placed our order the day before and got exactly what we asked for. The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome, and shared her knowledge of places to visit nearby. Thank you, Anne, for an enjoyable stay.

We’ve stayed at Yew Tree for years, and it’s never let us down. Anne, the owner, knows the area so well and clearly keeps to high standards. Everything you need is right there, and the place is exceptionally clean. The breakfast is fabulous too. Just a lovely little place to stay.

After a full day at the beach, I stayed here for a night with my five-year-old son. It’s a few minutes’ drive from the main activity, and you can walk to the beach, though carrying all the gear would be a struggle. The karaoke from the beach bars didn’t reach the hotel, so it was peaceful. We had a ground-floor annex room with a door straight onto the back garden, which was great. It was spacious and very clean. The house looked just like the pictures, with pretty gardens and plenty of parking. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. Ordering breakfast felt like the most complicated thing ever, but we got exactly what we wanted, right down to the sauce and no pesky tomatoes. The ingredients were high quality and nothing seemed to come from a supermarket. It was the best breakfast I’d had in a long time. Thoroughly recommend it, I can’t think of a downside.
