Entire Whalley House

This feels unsafe. The bedroom with the gas boiler has a smoke detector covered with a plastic bag and tape. The ceilings are very high, and reaching it would require a step ladder, which isn’t provided. There’s no carbon monoxide detector in that bedroom or anywhere in the property. In the bathroom, beside the shower, a bare bulb hangs from the ceiling as the light. There’s only one way in and out because the back door is locked and has no key.
