Holiday Inn Express Burnley

I often work in the lounge or restaurant because I live nearby, and it's always a comfortable place to get things done without interruption. Kamilla deserves a special thank you for making the best creamy hot chocolate and suggesting the hummous starter, which was delicious. The staff are consistently welcoming, friendly and professional, and the place is spotlessly clean. I always have a really enjoyable visit and would recommend it.

We stayed just one night while attending a funeral in Burnley. The hotel was fresh and very clean, and the staff made us feel welcome. Dinner was simple but really good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious, served buffet-style, and there was nothing I could fault.

Katie gave me a lovely, friendly welcome, and getting checked in was quick and easy. The room was large, the bed comfortable and the shower nice. It was ideally located just off the M65 for getting to work the next morning. I'd recommend it.

After the 2 1/2 hour trip from London, it was a pleasure to be greeted warmly by the receptionist, who showed us where our rooms were. We had a dog with us, and the next day I spoke with someone I assumed was a manageress. She told us she had dogs at home that she cared for. The service was very good, and the basic breakfast was also very nice. I've stayed in hotels where I wanted to leave the same day I arrived, but this was a great experience. I'd certainly stay again.
