Avoid this cottage. We booked through Airbnb and, after travelling for over three hours, were left with nowhere to stay and two tired dogs in the car. The host texted at 3pm to ask when we’d arrive. We said 4pm, and he replied that it wouldn’t be ready until 5pm. I said I’d get there at exactly 5pm, but then he cancelled the booking, saying he didn’t like the sound of us. Airbnb arranged the refund. I’m still waiting for the extra £50 he asked us to pay directly into his account for the hot tub. I have text messages confirming all of this.
