Marc made our visits feel especially warm. He was the toast master at our wedding, and from the moment we arrive he greets us so happily and treats us like royalty. He’s such a lovely man, and having him there makes the experience even more special. The staff are all fantastic and go out of their way to make a stay memorable. The service is outstanding, and whenever we return, it feels like coming home. It’s great value, too. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well cared for, with comfortable beds, a good choice of teas and coffees, and a lovely patio just outside. The location is peaceful and quiet, and we try to come back whenever we can.

We came back for our anniversary on 27.12.15, ten years after getting married here. We had a meal and stayed the night, and it brought back some wonderful memories. Marc was just as amazing as he was a decade ago. He made our wedding day extra special, and made this return visit feel just as good. All the staff gave us the same friendly, professional welcome we remembered from our first visit. Thanks to everyone for the lovely welcome and service. We’d recommend Buxted Park Hotel without hesitation.

My son and daughter-in-law had such a special wedding day here. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us, 120% all round. The venue was wonderful and the views spectacular. WOW, thank you Buxted for making their day so special.

The Library, one of the original state rooms, was a stunning setting for the surprise 40th birthday dinner I arranged for my husband. Our celebration package included prosecco, canapés and a three-course meal, and the food was delicious. Marc was a joy to have as host. He was our MC at our wedding in September 2022, and brought the same charm and enthusiasm to this family dinner. The whole team was warm, friendly, and very accommodating, and the staff were exceptional. I’d highly recommend Buxted Park for an occasion of any size, from a big wedding to an intimate dinner party.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and the focus seemed to be on the quality of the food as well as how it looked. The staff were faultless, friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Early in the morning, deer wander across the stunning lawns, and the well cared for building feels elegant at every turn without being stuffy. We stayed in the Queen Mary Suite at Buxted Park Hotel, and didn’t want to leave. It’s huge, beautifully decorated, and full of character, with high ceilings, grand windows, and views over the grounds that made it feel like a period film. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom spotless and luxurious, and the fresh coffee and fluffy robes were lovely touches. It was a real treat, with history, comfort, and calm all together.
