The host made this stay feel personal, warm and authentic, and was so welcoming and helpful. Our room was spotless, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared. Breakfast was hot, delicious and clearly made with care each morning. The location is handy for everything, but the place still feels peaceful. We had such a lovely time and would happily stay again. Highly recommend!

The setting was just right for short walks into Buxton, and it’s also handy if you want to travel further or take the bus to Bakewell. We came back for a four-day break after staying here five years ago, and it was every bit as good as we remembered. Rupert & Caroline were polite, professional and attentive as always. Breakfast was lovely, the room was neat and clean, and the bed was so comfortable we slept like logs. Thanks for the hospitality. We hope to return.

Breakfast was first class, and we liked being able to choose what went on our plates so nothing was wasted. The couple who run this B&B were lovely. Our room was quiet, warm, clean and comfortable, and even the tea, coffee and toilet paper were excellent quality. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Buxton.

A lovely bed and breakfast, very close to Buxton town centre and with plenty of free parking. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, the beds were very clean, and the room had a nice choice of tea, coffee and biscuits.

The couple who own the hotel were very pleasant, and breakfast was lovely. Our room was cleaned every day and we got fresh towels daily, along with a mix of tea and coffee that was topped up each day. It’s not far from town, where there are plenty of nice places to eat and shop. The station is 13 minutes away if you fancy a train journey.
