Breakfast was delicious, and there was plenty of it. Paul met us outside when we arrived, and he was so friendly and happy to help. The room was really comfortable, with lovely extras, and despite being just off the main road we couldn't hear traffic. Perfectly placed for a walk into the town centre. What a fantastic guest house.

We stayed in the self catering Walnut Cottage and found it very clean and tidy, with good quality bed linen and towels. The welcome pack was great, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It's just a short walk from Buxton centre and its attractions. We'd definitely come back.

Such a cosy place to stay, full of history, with owners who are really friendly. A B&B with lots of heart. Go for their Derbyshire Full English breakfast.

Paul was a great host and kept communication clear. Everything was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The beds were comfy, and the generous breakfast tasted great. I also appreciated the thermostatic shower in the tidy bathroom, a bit of a luxury. Very happy to recommend.

The owner is there when you arrive to explain how things work, then lets you get on with your stay. The rooms are super clean and cosy, some of the nicest I've stayed in. Breakfast was excellent, better than the top restaurants in Buxton. I'll recommend this place to everyone.
