I rang at the last minute to ask about camping, since I was going to an event at the winking man pub up the road. I got an answering machine, but Jane called straight back and confirmed there was space. I took a wrong turn on the way, and Jane had to come back while she was heading out to collect my payment. Really friendly and accommodating. After setting up, I went into town for food. When I got back, I used the excellent washing facilities, which were very clean. There were signs about the hot water and about putting only blue paper towels in the bin provided. The outdoor areas were tidy too, with recycling bins and an outside pot washing station. A really nice site in an idyllic location. I'll definitely go again.

We stayed in a tent at Hazel Barrow Farm, so there's no room to review. It's a peaceful site with lovely views across to the Roaches. There's a pub within walking distance for drinks and easy meals, and you can walk to Lud’s Church and the Roaches without driving.

We spent five nights camping under the stars at Hazel Barrow Farm, with plenty of time to explore the Roaches, Ludds Church and beyond. It's a small, quiet campsite, and the basic facilities were clean and well looked after. Jane was a welcoming, helpful host. Thank you.

Jane is a lovely host, and I'd definitely come back. The campsite has amazing 360 views and is great for the Roaches. It's excellent value for solo campers. The toilet and shower were very clean, and the shower was surprisingly powerful. 4G is quite limited, but I could get online on Three.

The location is great for rock climbing and bouldering, and it's very cheap for the area. I'd camp here again, though not in a cabin. My friends had the six-person cabin above the toilets and shower, and the poor plumbing made a racket every time someone used them, including at night and early in the morning. There was only one women's toilet and shower, and just one for men too.
