Tesco is right next door, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and the bus stop outside made it easy to get into the city centre. Lisburn Road was a great base, and dinner at Ryan’s bar was lovely, just a five-minute walk away. The apartment was much bigger than we expected, clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen, tidy bathrooms and plenty of towels. We only stayed one night, but we'd happily book again for longer.

The flat was spacious and in good order, with a small balcony, and the staff were nice. Check-in was quick and easy. I’d still recommend Cordia apartments to friends and family visiting my brother, who lives five minutes away, and I think 4 out of 5 is fair. But the repair visit during our stay really disrupted my plans. I was told only about five minutes before the crew arrived, with no earlier email, and it felt as if I was expected to agree. They were there for two hours in the early morning, with the apartment door left open the whole time. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my belongings there while they worked, so I missed the chance to have breakfast with my family in Belfast, whom I’d come to visit. I think I should have been told in advance that the stay would be interrupted, and the work could have been arranged better. The room also hadn’t been cleaned properly: there were old socks left behind and dust in a few spots.

We’ve stayed twice now and wouldn’t choose anywhere else for our visits to Belfast City Hospital. It’s close by and easy to get to, there’s a Tesco next door, and parking is secure and straightforward. Varnika was friendly and helpful when an airlock affected the hot water and heating, sorting it efficiently and without complaint, which was reassuring. The kitchen, bathroom and TV are all top notch, with plenty of crockery and utensils, plus a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer, all laid out well. The apartments are spotless and work well for a longer stay with up to two couples or family members. As older visitors with a bit of arthritis, though, we find the sofas slippery and short on back support, and the mattresses very hard. We manage by sleeping on the duvet and bringing in the duvet from the spare bedroom, and next time we’ll bring cushions. That’s just useful information for older visitors, not a criticism of the clean furnishings, which are designed for frequent rental use.

The beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. It was spacious and spotless, including the bathrooms. The interior entrance looked very impressive and clean when we arrived, and staff greeted us on level 2 and were really helpful. Our only small complaint is that the bath towels were small. We’d all be happy to stay again. A big thank you to everyone who runs the apartments.

After a month at Cordia Service Apartments, it really felt like home. Varnika deserves a special mention for being kind, attentive and ready to help whenever I needed anything. The staff, comfort, cleanliness and general atmosphere were all excellent. I felt welcomed and cared for throughout, and would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for making the month so lovely! 🏡✨
