The building is older and could be kept in much better shape. The bathrooms could use improvement, and a small kitchen would be a useful addition. The lawn could look nicer with some attention, including pruning the trees and training the bushes. The room seemed over-furnished to me, with old-fashioned furniture. Still, it has all the essential facilities and is in an easy-to-reach location.

AVOID! The conditions were unacceptable, and the bathrooms couldn't be used. The host wouldn't refund us and made condescending remarks. I can't understand how he can leave the place in that state without being embarrassed. It felt like a health hazard, with dog hair and biting fleas everywhere on top of everything else.

The worst apartment I've ever seen. It's completely run down, and most of the kitchen facilities are old and don't work. The WIFI wasn't working either, and the host Robert Aps was incredibly difficult to deal with. On booking.com, the apartment is also listed as: "Isolated Self'contained Studio in leafy Belfast". Avoid if you can!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay, despite seeing the negative reviews beforehand. For such an affordable price, the property was better than we expected. The room was warm, comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the host was welcoming and helpful. Getting around was convenient too, with the glider bus very close by for trips to the city centre and train station. There are at least 2 supermarkets within walking distance, along with loads of restaurants. I was nervous about sharing a bathroom before we arrived, but it turned out fine: the property has 2 large bathrooms with bathing facilities in each. There was also a microwave for heating readymeals, plus a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!
