Bryn Eglwys Hotel

We came with my ten-year-old son so we could climb Snowdon for his birthday, and the gentleman was so friendly. He shared the area's history and suggested a lovely walk, then advised us on which Snowdon route to take. We chose the Snowdon ranger route and had a fantastic time, so thank you! The hotel's views are breathtaking, and it's quiet and relaxed. Breakfast was lovely, and the music and candles by the front made it feel homey. We both loved our stay and will definitely return.

Emma and Regan made us feel so welcome. They're friendly, informative and clearly put a lot of effort into the hotel, which is beautifully presented and felt really homely. We loved the room, food and location, and there was a calm atmosphere throughout the hotel and grounds, just what we needed for our weekend away. Everything was perfect, and we'll be back. Our five days at Ty Afon were for our elopement, and it was so hard to leave after such a special celebration. The mountain terrace where we got married was magical, and the spectacular location made our day even more special. Emma and Regan are caring, warm owners who take real pride in everything, from the natural surroundings and lovely interior to the excellent service. From the time we booked, Emma was always just a message away with answers and was very involved on the day, making sure everything suited us and ran smoothly. We can't thank them and the team enough for all their care and effort. Ty Afon will always be a magical place for us, and we can't wait to come back!

We were delighted with our stay, from the comfortable bed and quiet room to the excellent breakfast. The walks from River House into the village and surrounding countryside were unforgettable. It's a beautiful place in a lovely rural village, and we hope to return.
