That bread was delicious, especially with the ham, cheese and pear chutney. I enjoyed it so much I want to come back before we leave for another one. The coffee and cakes were lovely too. I can't recommend this place enough. I noticed they have accommodation, so I'll think about staying next time we visit.

The room was spotless, spacious and cleaned each day, with a modern, well-equipped en suite. It opens onto a shared kitchen and sitting area, which worked well for us. Breakfast is self-serve, and we were unsure about that at first, but it turned out to be really convenient, especially since we'd brought fruit with us. Our host gave us a lovely welcome, and the room came with a postcard-worthy view. Did I mention the view? Looking forward to coming back with friends in summer.

Right in the middle of the village, the coachhouse was clean and very friendly. Reagan was incredibly accommodating when ferry delays meant we needed to check in very late. He understood the whole situation with the late ferry, travelling with a baby, and parents getting stressed, and made it easy for us. Breakfast is continental and pretty good. The views are stunning, and it's an easy walk to the local shop, ice cream parlours and pub.

There are only five rooms, and breakfast is brought to your room: fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal, porridge, fresh milk and Welsh cakes. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room too, and the shower was good. The owners were friendly, and their messages before we arrived were really helpful. They sent a list of places to eat, and I'd strongly recommend booking because the town is small and gets busy in season. The hotel sits right in the heart of Snowdonia in beautiful Bedgelert, with the quaint town, eateries, shops and Bedgelert's grave all easy to reach on foot. We were there in October, when parking on the road outside was easy with restrictions lifted. I can imagine it being harder in summer.

Stopped by for a drink and cake at their “The Real Coffee Shop” cafe. The coffee was fantastic and the carrot cake scrumptious. Thanks to the proprietor for a warm welcome and such friendly service!
