Glyn Peris

Ceris was friendly and accommodating, and gave us lots of useful suggestions for walks, places to visit and places to eat. We had three rooms for our group of five adults, and every one was comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is handy, with plenty of local attractions a short walk or drive away. We’d definitely stay again.

I slept really well both nights at Glyn Peris Guest House. It was clean, quiet and comfortable, and only a short walk from the centre of Llanberis, close enough to be convenient but far enough away to stay quiet. I was heading out early each day for a running weekend and missed the cooked breakfast, but Ceris arranged a continental one for me the night before. I really appreciated that.

Ceris made us feel very welcome and helped us with useful information about our Snowdon walk and bus routes. The room was spotless and had plenty of tea and coffee, and breakfast was gorgeous. We had a lovely stay this weekend and would like to come back, perhaps to try a different route. There were some great photos on the dining room wall, but I didn’t get to ask Ceris whether her husband is involved with the RNLI. Thanks again for such a welcoming stay. I’d recommend it, especially for anyone walking Snowdon. 😊

Breakfast was a highlight of our two nights at Glyn Peris: we had a great home-cooked full English both mornings. Ceris also had a Snowdon Summit weather forecast printout available each day and was happy to share advice on local places to eat and drink. There’s a drying room, so our wet gear was dry by breakfast the next morning. We could choose our breakfast in advance and tell Ceris about allergies or intolerances before arriving. Communication beforehand was spot on, and she even let us park a few hours early so we could walk into the village before check-in. The guesthouse is clean and comfortable, about 15 minutes on foot from Llanberis high street and 20 minutes from the start of the Llanberis path up to Snowdon. A really lovely B&B, and I’d recommend it to walkers and runners looking for a warm, comfortable stay in the area.
