Idan House

Hard to beat for the money. The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were great, and the location worked really well. Breakfast was delicious too. 10/10 all round.

A lovely guest house right in the middle of the village. Breakfast was plentiful, and the gentleman serving it brought a bit of sunshine to the morning. They don't offer a vegetarian breakfast, though. They took the meat off my plate instead of keeping veggie sausages in the freezer, but I had enough to eat.

The location made it easy to get out hiking on Mount Snowdon, and the service was great. I left some things in the room after checking out, and they posted them all the way to London. The rooms were nice too.

We arrived late, but self check-in made it easy to find our rooms. Parking was straightforward too, with spaces on the road just outside when we visited at Easter. It's a lovely B&B in the centre of Llanberis. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a kettle and TV, and mine also had a sink. That long radiator was really useful for drying damp clothes after hikes. The shared bathroom stayed clean and always seemed to have hot water when I showered. Breakfast was great, and the host was happy to accommodate people's choices.
