We had an overnight stay three weeks ago and I forgot to review it at the time. The Edwardian building and its beautifully presented interior stood out, and the bedroom was just as well kept, with an amazing bed. Breakfast offered a fantastic choice and was top quality. The owner herself was very friendly and the service was first class. We plan to return soon.

I took my partner here for her 31st birthday, and she absolutely loved the house. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable. It’s a beautiful place, and I’d highly recommend it if you want a wonderful stay.

We slept so well, it was one of the best nights I can remember. We even wished we could take the bed home 😉. The hotel is charming and well located, with an exceptional breakfast, intricately carved furniture and sympathetic interior design. The staff were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the beds were really comfortable. We liked the place, but our room needed some maintenance. The chandelier was coming down, the TV wall hanging seemed precarious, and the bathroom window wouldn’t shut fully. Overall, it could use a little TLC.

We held an afternoon tea and buffet here after the funeral of a close family member. The location was ideal, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent and the service very good.
