The staff were so friendly, and the Interlude restaurant was just the best. We had an amazing overnight stay at Leonardslee house. Highly recommend.

We did the sparkling wine tasting/masterclass and were hooked, even though we’re fairly new to wine. Simba is an excellent sommelier, combining deep knowledge with an engaging way of presenting and explaining things. His explanations of the background to each wine kept us interested. Would 100% recommend.

We really enjoyed our family stay. The rooms were beautiful, and the setting even more so. We loved taking early morning and late night strolls while the gardens were closed. Fresh breakfast arrived in our room every morning. The staff were very helpful and knew the local area well.

The building is fabulous, the rooms are amazing, and the gardens are incredible. In the evenings, though, staff seem to disappear and leave guests by themselves. There’s no room service, and breakfast isn’t in the restaurant. You have to walk to a public cafe.

Having access to the gardens and grounds made our weekend feel special. We were really pleased to find Leonardslee house for a short break: the room and staff were both lovely, and breakfast at Interlude was well put together. I'd happily recommend staying here in Sussex.
