James welcomed us warmly at 19.30 after a long drive and showed us to a lovely, warm room. We were in room 3 on Monday and Tuesday, 20 Jan. The restaurant is currently closed on those days, but we'd been told in advance and brought microwaveable ready meals. The room had everything we needed to eat comfortably. The large double bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the shower, and an iron, board and safe were provided. Parking is accessed from Mill Lane, so take it slowly or you might miss the entrance. Enjoy.

We had a Sunday roast today and it was lovely, home-cooked food for a reasonable £14.95. Nothing was too much trouble, and the atmosphere was lovely. I can imagine it gets really busy in the warmer months, but we were a happy bunch today! 👍🎊🎊

The friendly staff and the value for money keep me coming back. Everything is homemade, and I've yet to be disappointed as I work my way through the menu. Liver and bacon is my favourite, the gammon is divine, and the mixed grill is awesome, so make sure you're hungry. My favourite place to eat by far. Five stars ⭐.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and this felt like a great local pub for families. We were visiting the area on holiday and had seen good reviews of the Sunday roast, which lived up to them. The food was great, the portions were generous and the prices were good value.

We'd been bringing our caravan to caistor for a couple of years, but only found the white heart on this visit. It was our first time there, though it definitely won't be the last. Three adults went for a late birthday lunch, and all our meals were amazing.
