David was a brilliant host, so friendly and helpful, and the teacakes and prosecco were a lovely welcome. The bedrooms are all fantastic sizes, and the photos don’t really show how beautiful the house is. It’s stocked with absolutely everything you might need. We had a fantastic weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks, David!

I’ve always wanted to stay in a Victorian house, and this one was probably the best place I’ve stayed in Scotland. My extended family loved it: three adults, two in their 70s, and three kids.

Bracklin Falls is worth the walk, and you can join the trail almost right from the house. We were a family group of 10, and Annfield House suited us brilliantly, with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and a well stocked home. Restaurants and pubs are easy to reach on foot, and there’s a nice Co-op grocery store just up the street. David was very easy to communicate with. I may be forgetting something, but I’d absolutely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us.

The breakfast had lots of options and everything we tried was delicious. Alison and David are such kind, lovely hosts. Our room was spotless and well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The building is just a two minute walk from the city center, on a peaceful street with no noise. I also liked the design and furniture in the guest living room and dining room. There’s free private parking beside the house. This was easily the best bed and breakfast I’ve stayed at.
