The breakfast chats and Francesca and Stefano's food tips made this such a charming base for exploring the area. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home, and the room was warm and snug through the snowy weather. We had a perfect stay and would come back.

That Italian dinner at Lubnaig Guesthouse was such a treat. The six of us were able to ask about having dinner there, and it turned out great. Stefano and Francesca looked after us so well. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests in the cosy lounge, which felt sociable without being intrusive. The room, beds and bathroom were all very good.

We were sorry not to have had a longer stay, especially as we missed the evening dinners served Tuesday to Saturday. Watching the red squirrels dart about the lovely grounds during breakfast was a real pleasure. The breakfast itself was a spread of fresh fruit, meats, preserves and yoghurt, followed by a full English and coffee. Francesca and Stefano made us feel welcome from arrival to departure, and the spotless room had everything we needed. We were working at the Forest Holidays Strathyre site and chose Lubnaig Guest House as our base. A wonderful visit, the Italian way!
