The bathroom was shared, so the broken lock made it very uncomfortable that it couldn’t be secured. The toilet seat lid was broken too, and the front garden had rubbish scattered around, plus a broken door lying in the grass. Worst of all, the shower didn’t work. We had two children with us after a very long journey and couldn’t shower, so we had to leave and book another hotel.

It’s close to the town centre, though the centre itself is very run down. The rooms are extremely basic but clean. There are two dated, not very clean bathrooms shared with four other rooms. The walls are very thin, and we were woken at 4am by another guest’s TV and people walking past our bedroom door.

A disaster. The rooms were very cold, the linen was filthy and never changed, and the toilets were just as dirty. The man who runs it is Indian and makes fun of people. It’s basically a house with five rooms for rent, typical of people like him in this country. There are no decent conditions there!

I left after three nights were booked and found a hotel elsewhere. The bed linen was stained and dirty, there were hairs from several different people on the bed and duvet, the furniture had cigarette burns, and there was no hot water. The owner refused a full refund. It was the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, absolutely disgusting and unstayable.
