The views all around were beautiful, and it's only an hour's drive to the Newquay beach. Jon and Tracy were lovely, welcoming owners. We had a tent ready for us, fully kitted out for camping with comfy beds, gas stoves, a bbq and more. There was fresh water, a hot shower, a solar-powered charging station and a communal fire. What more could you ask for? We'll definitely return. Tyler, Megan, Alby & Sophia

We had a great time at Summit, enjoying the natural surroundings while keeping things basic. The views across the Tamar Valley were stunning, and on a clear day you can see the coast near Plymouth. We were lucky enough to have a couple of nights for stargazing. Tracy was a welcoming, helpful host who covered our basic needs and shared tips on local walks and places to visit. A supermarket and other amenities were just a short drive away. Loved it.

It's a step up from wild camping, with a lovely view, though it can get windy. Edit: My first review was a bit bland and didn't show how much we enjoyed staying here. It's a lovely place to camp.

The field slopes and can feel a little exposed, but the site makes up for it with a great fire pit, a shelter with benches, and lots of thoughtful little touches. Lovely wild camping spot with stunning views.

We loved the communal firepit and the peace and quiet. There was lots of room to choose a pitch, and the information board was useful. Facilities were just as described: a water tap, portaloos and a shower, all ample for our stay. The views are the best I've ever seen at a campsite. It feels wild, while still being close enough to civilisation to be convenient. The host was lovely and helpful, with loads of local knowledge.
