The Holly Tree

I had an interview at Royal Papworth Hospital in the morning, so I stayed overnight. It was a peaceful, cosy spot within walking distance of where I needed to be. My room and the shared bathroom were tidy and very clean, a good setup for travelling alone. The kitchen and dining area looked great too, though I didn't need to use them. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and so were the two cats. I'd gladly stay again if I come back to Cambridge.

For work, I've stayed at the Holly Tree several times. Ruth is kind and welcoming, and she's around if you need something without getting in your way. The room has always been clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It's a quiet, peaceful area, a decent distance from Cambridge city centre.

Ruth made us feel so welcome, warm, and cared for that it felt like staying with my own mother. The garden view from our cosy, very clean room was lovely. I'm not much of a breakfast person, but the delicious spread won me over. We had an amazing stay here. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cambridge. 11/10.
