My dad and I come here for meals quite often. The ladies are helpful and service is prompt, and the prices are very reasonable. The food is always hot, nicely presented, and really tasty. I'd happily recommend the place.

My son and I went in at 3:45 this afternoon and ordered just before closing. The portions were spot on, the food was cooked perfectly, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It was so good I tipped them, since I haven't had pub food that good in ages. Well done, everyone. I still need to try more of the menu, so I'll be back ☺️☺️☺️

We went as a group for Mother's Day Sunday lunch and were really pleased with it. There was a varied menu with choices for young and old, even on a Sunday, and the portions were fantastic. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. We're lucky to have such a brilliant local.

The Old Red Lion Inn was a nice place to stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and dinner in the pub had a lovely setting. The portions were generous, and the meat dishes at other tables looked good. But the vegetarian choices and dessert were very bland, while the continental breakfast was just okay, so four stars from me. Thanks for having us.

A lovely country inn with a cosy, apartment-like feel to the rooms. The pub has traditional surroundings and a log fire, and the staff were warm and friendly. The food was outstanding and fairly priced. A wonderful stay, and I'd be glad to visit again. A must for travellers and tourists alike.
