We loved being on the campus, which reminded us of our college days. We didn’t have enough time to explore more of the college or try the cafe, which was a shame. Our double room with shared bathroom was on the small side for the hotel price, so it didn’t feel like the best value. Still, reliving the college experience was fantastic. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful when we asked for a quieter room. A great stay at West Court.

Breakfast in the main hall was a highlight. It looks straight out of a Harry Potter movie, and staying on the grounds of Jesus College made us feel part of its community. The hotel is right in Cambridge city center, with a lovely garden on the college grounds, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent. My one suggestion would be to provide somewhere secure to keep bikes overnight. I can’t imagine a better choice.

The college campus is amazing, with historic buildings kept in immaculate condition. There’s a proper academic feel to the place, the rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was great too.

Breakfast in the college hall is a self-serve buffet, with excellent food from a full English to continental choices, fruit and cereal. It was all prepared and presented beautifully. The place has a bit of a conference centre feel, but it’s super-central and the staff are friendly. Our en suite was clean and comfortable, with a powerful shower and gel and shampoo provided. I’d definitely recommend West Court for a Cambridge visit.

As a Jesus alumnus, I’m really fond of the lovely renovation at West Court. The bar and cafe facing the courtyard are great, too.
