I was happy with my stay and could leave my belongings safely at the hotel before I left the city. It’s right in the centre of London, which is a great location. The one problem was at check-in. Even though it was time, I wasn’t given the room I’d booked. They put me in a basement room instead, where I could hear people talking outside the window.

The continental breakfast was great, and the hotel is handy for Bayswater and Queensway Tube stations. I was there for one night on business during a freezing cold spell, and the heating worked perfectly. My room was spacious and well equipped, with a lovely bathroom. The staff were super friendly. Highly recommended.

The room and cleaning service weren’t bad, but one experience has put me off coming back to this hotel in London. Someone at reception refused to help me use the microwave, saying it was only for staff, not guests. I’ve never come across hotel staff with that attitude on all my trips. It’s a shame. If you can’t respect guests or try to help them, perhaps this isn’t the right business. Hosting people means treating them with respect. I’d advise anyone who wants to enjoy their trip without running into this kind of situation to find a hotel with more polite, helpful staff who care about guests’ comfort. One incident can spoil your mood for the whole trip. Shame on him.

That shower and water pressure were the best I’ve ever had. The terrace is peaceful and quiet, and there’s a great coffee machine you can use for free anytime. The staff made our London trip amazing. Remo was especially kind and helpful, and made us feel like we had a friend there. I really can’t say enough about the place. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in London, this is it. You won’t be disappointed. 10/10.

We had a mishap at the building opposite, and The 55 by le mirage kindly let us come inside to stay warm on a winter night. They also gave us free Wi-Fi and drinks. Such warm, excellent service for residents who needed help. Thank you.
