We often bring friends and family here for lunch. The pub is busy and popular, but still feels warm and friendly, with the fire always going, which makes all the difference. We love the Sunday roast, with a different one each week, generous gravy and excellent roast potatoes. The rest of the menu is great too.

We were a big French family on a day trip around Kent and had such a lovely time by the fireplace. The food was really tasty, and our waitress was so nice. Thanks again for having us. Lovely place, lovely people, and fantastic food. I absolutely recommend it.

The owners have been so accommodating about my dietary needs, and I’ve loved every dish I’ve tried. It’s a beautiful pub in a stunning village, with brilliant owners and incredible food. We’ve enjoyed every visit, and we’ll be back soon. I’ve told my friends about it too.

The staff made us feel right at home, and the lunch was lovely, with generous portions at a fair price. Inside, there’s plenty of room and it’s comfortable, especially by the lit fire. The garden is huge, and I can imagine it being a nice place to sit in summer.

The woman serving today seemed bothered from the moment we came in, and asking for food felt like too much trouble. There’s no kids’ menu, and the park has gone too. Only two couples were there, and it’s no surprise.
