The rooms were spotless and breakfast was very good. Sanjeewa was a big part of what made our stay so much better. He was warm, kind and helpful, and made my partner and me feel comfortable from the start. He really puts in extra effort.

We loved how central the location was, and breakfast was lovely, especially the crumpets. Sanjeewa was so friendly, and even let us leave our bags after checkout for the day. The room itself was simple, but nice and clean. We'll definitely book again.

We only stayed one night and felt it was good value. The Greyfriars Lodge is rather old and basic, but it was clean and the location was great. Service was good too. Sanjeewa was attentive and very willing to help.

Right on the Main Street in the heart of Canterbury, the location was the best part. Mr. Sanjeewa was a great help and looked after us well. The lodge is an older building, but the sheets and washroom were clean, and breakfast was good. I'd love to stay again on my next trip to Canterbury.

We could hear plenty of noise from other guests and outside, though it didn't cause us a problem. The hotel could do with a refresh and a proper deep clean, and the mattress wasn't the best. Still, it suited what we needed, the price was reasonable for Canterbury, and it's an easy walk into town from a fantastic location. Sanjeewa was lovely and welcoming, with no fuss about anything. He let us leave our luggage before check-in and after checkout, which was so convenient. Breakfast was basic but had all we needed, in a nice little setup. Thanks ☺️
