The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We had a great first mother and daughter getaway. The bed was really comfy, the bathroom was lovely and clean, and everything was clean when we arrived. Even the drawers didn't have that usual musty old smell, so we felt fine storing our clothes in them. Breakfast was really good and we had a lovely time.

The location worked perfectly for us, close enough to walk into town but not right in the centre. Julia and Paul were very friendly and welcoming, and the whole Guest House was really clean. Our room was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. We stayed four nights in July 2025 and had the best time in Whitby.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and breakfast is pre-ordered, so it's nearly ready as soon as you sit down. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's not far from town, and parking is available on site, though limited. I'd definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

It's refreshing to find somewhere so clean. The place was warm and lovely, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were attentive and friendly without hovering, and the food and service were fantastic. Breakfast was really nice, with lush meat and vegetarian choices. We'd highly recommend staying here 🌟😋

Julia greeted us at the door again when we arrived, and later we had some good chats with her husband Paul about places to eat, drink, and walk. They're both extremely polite and helpful. The Glenora was spotless once again, and the breakfast was lovely as always, with lots of choice and excellent produce. Another great stay. We loved it so much we'll definitely book again next year.
