Handy spot, with a pub, supermarket and Boots right across the way. The owners made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast was tasty and good value. We slept well in the comfy bed, and the bedroom had a lovely big shower in its en-suite. I’d happily stay again.

We’ve already booked another visit. The meal was superb, with beautifully presented food, just-right portions and outstanding flavour, and the price was incredibly reasonable. The venue was clean and had a wonderful atmosphere, while the staff were attentive. Best meal we’ve had in a long time.

The little daffodils on the tables were a lovely touch, and we really liked the restaurant. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was gorgeous, especially the king prawns, and it was such good value that we felt we should’ve paid much more. This was the best meal we’ve had in ages. Couldn’t recommend it more.

We had a wonderful afternoon here for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding reception. It was booked late after changes to the wedding services, but the team made everything work and nothing felt like too much trouble. The food and service were fantastic, though that hardly covers it. I’d recommend the venue for a special occasion or even a cosy lunch.

The garden is lovely, and the ice cream was scrumptious. It’s a great little addition to a beautiful village, with friendly, welcoming staff and a menu that has something for everyone throughout the day. Seems suitable for all ages and family sizes. Definitely worth visiting, and I’d recommend it.
