The Old Fire Station

Tom was a brilliant host throughout. We booked two nights for me and my boyfriend while travelling around the uk, and this was easily the best place we stayed. The home was clean and lovely, check-in and check-out were simple, and it felt like home. Great location too, whether you want a getaway or to explore Canterbury. Thanks again, Tom.

The location made it easy to walk to the train station, shops, restaurants, parks and the other things you’d expect to see in Canterbury. Tom communicated well and gave us excellent recommendations. The beds were really comfortable, and the unit had all the amenities we needed. From the moment we came inside, we felt at ease, like we’d found a little home far from home. You might even spot a very sweet black cat on the street just outside. We’ve dubbed it Canterbury Kitty. We highly recommend this Cosy Fireman's Cottage in Canterbury. You won’t be disappointed.

Cedar House was clean, tidy and nicely presented, with everything we needed for a comfortable, special celebration. Tom was thoughtful and responsive to our calls and texts, and his clear communication and personal check-ins made the whole stay feel seamless and stress-free. He’d even left us some breakfast. I can’t recommend Cedar House or Tom highly enough. Thanks for making my birthday so memorable! 🥳🥳🥳

The children were thrilled with the welcome basket, especially the mini cereals and chocolate croissants. We had a wonderful, extremely comfortable stay in the beautifully renovated historic building, the Old Fire Station. Tom was attentive and communicative, and we got to meet him too, which was lovely.
