The meals were a real highlight. We used the servery each evening, with dinner and dessert for £14.50, and the home cooked food was delicious, varied each day and came in a great range. Breakfast was included too, a lovely start to the day. We were there over February half term with our teenage boys, using the two nights for the price of one offer. The place was just what we wanted and more, with easy access to all Snowdonia has to offer and beautiful views from our room and the bar. The rooms were spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. The shower worked well and was warm, but its door was awkward and leaked. The shower door in our son’s room was different, so it may just have been ours. We’ll definitely return. In fact, my husband has already booked a stay with friends later this year.

There’s a great social atmosphere, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The place was clean and the food was lovely. The tea and coffee machine could have been refilled more often, and the bed had seen a few too many winters.

The Centre was spotless throughout, and the staff were friendly and welcoming the whole time. We stayed for three days on a visit to Wales, mainly to climb Snowdon for the first time, and its location worked out very well. The restaurant served tasty food, with stunning mountain views, and the services offered were good value. I’d recommend Plas y Brenin to anyone visiting the area, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

I haven’t stayed there yet, but booking a course has been such a good experience that I wanted to say something. The course and booking staff are amazing to work with, accommodating and patient through all my back and forth and endless questions. They’ve always replied quickly and kindly. I spoke with Jen, Alex, Clare, Lucy, Jo, and Lou, and the whole team has been so helpful. Couldn’t ask for better service. Five stars and gold medals all around!
