The food was a real highlight, especially the steak and gammon, both cooked just right and clearly high quality. Portions were generous, everything was nicely presented, and the menu had something for everyone. We were seated quickly and our drinks arrived soon after. The pub itself is clean and cosy, with a lovely authentic feel, and parking was easy. We booked for six to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and were so pleased with the whole evening. We’ve found our family get-together spot. Thanks so much, Hayley and family.

The young woman handling both the bar and restaurant was amazing, and there’s plenty of parking. We really enjoyed the food: the brisket was wonderfully tender, and my steak was cooked exactly how I’d asked. Highly recommend.

Room two was excellent, and we couldn’t find anything to fault during our two-night stay. The service was five-star, the food was very good, and the prices felt fair. My wife and I would highly recommend it.

We weren’t sure what to expect since we didn’t know the area, but all four of us had excellent meals. The portions were so big that nobody had room for dessert. I had the beef brisket and would definitely recommend it.

My son and his partner had stayed at the Kings Head several times and told me about it, so I made a point of visiting when I came across the pond. Really glad I did. Everyone was so lovely, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The fish and chips were top notch too. Thanks to Robbie and the staff for making my first night in the UK such a good one. I’ll be back!
