Central Luxury Apartment

A lovely weekend in Cardiff. The room was tidy and really clean, though it got a little too hot for me at night. I'd stay again. The TV was great and had all the apps, but it's a shame the previous guest had signed out of some of them.

The room was wonderfully warm, and when I had an issue with the hot water, they responded quickly. It's in a great spot, easy to reach from the station and city centre. Unfortunately, the person in the room above woke me at 4.30 one Tuesday morning, then at 6.30 on Wednesday and Thursday, dragging chairs and stomping about. I heard it in the evenings too. Luckily, they seem to have gone home, and the rest of my stay was peaceful.

The room was spacious, clean and had everything needed for a short or long stay. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the location couldn't be better for getting to the train station or town centre. The room was on the garden floor, where the only windows were the full door leading to the patio. Leaving it open meant anyone on the patio could see in, while keeping it shut made the room a little damp and musty. Maybe that's just how the garden floor is, but I noticed it each time I came back. It still did the job, and I'll book again when I'm in Cardiff.

Central Studios was really lovely, comfortable and thoughtfully set up, with everything I needed for a short three-night weekend, even filtered water in the fridge. My room was so clean it felt brand new. The hosts replied right away or promptly when I got in touch about check-in and check-out instructions, and they also shared a really useful list of local restaurants. The location is excellent, directly across the river from the stadium, where I was invited to Six Nations Rugby while also doing a bit of work. It's just as close to Central Train Station, and a short walk from the main part of Cardiff and its historical and cultural sites. Despite being within walking distance of everything, the place was quiet and away from the crowds and party-goers. I can't say enough good things and wish more hosts paid this much attention to guests' comfort and needs. I highly recommend it and already have. I hope to come back for a more leisurely visit with loved ones. Well done!
