The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Downstairs, the gin bar served the tastiest gin I’ve ever had. The decor was lovely too. I’d definitely come back and am recommending it to all my friends.

The staff were friendly, and the place has a nice modern look, with good lighting and neatly set tables. The menu is mostly vegetarian and doesn’t have much for vegans, which is fair enough. We ordered several dishes with some ingredients taken out so I could eat them, but they were so salty we couldn’t manage them and sent the food back. I’d happily try again if they update the menu and use less salt.

We went when it had a chilled-out feel. There’s a lovely gin selection, displayed prettily, and the bar person knew the flavours well. They found my friend and me gins we hadn’t tried before and ended up loving. The glasses and garnishes were lovely too.

We were given our two-hour table as booked under the covid restrictions. When I still had a drink to finish, we asked about moving elsewhere, and they accommodated us well. The atmosphere was great and everyone was friendly. There’s a huge gin selection, though no other cocktails. There were plenty of other alcoholic drinks to choose from, so we weren’t disappointed. I had the house rose and it was perfect. I’ll visit again.
