The service was a 10/10, and the food made our last-minute dinner booking such a great find. My family and I were on a short break, and I wish we’d discovered this place sooner. The squid rings were the best squid I’ve ever had, and the belly pork was just as good. My parents really enjoyed their lamb too. We’ll definitely come back if we’re passing through. Highly recommend :)

The new outdoor pods look nice, and there’s a pleasant beer garden. We stopped by for a drink with friends who live nearby. The staff were cheerful and welcoming, and the food looked good as well. I’d come back.

We dropped in on a whim and the staff were happy to fit us in. Later, we tried dinner at the Carew Inn and loved it: delicious home-cooked food at a great price, with friendly, efficient service. Carew itself has something magical about it. We’ll definitely return.

We rang around looking for a table for New Year’s Day evening and found one here. The front-of-house team were friendly and professional, asking about allergies and whether we’d bring a dog. The portions were good and the food excellent. I had the best Halloumi burger I’ve ever tasted; my friends enjoyed their fish and chips, steak and chips, and pork belly. We’d happily recommend the place, and I’ve bookmarked it. Well done, team. 10/10.

We came across this restaurant by chance with a large group, which could have been tricky to manage during a busy spell. The staff handled us really efficiently. Everything was fresh, nicely presented, and, above all, very tasty. Definitely worth seeking out if you’re nearby.
