Leanne is very friendly and a perfect host. I stayed one night in a single room at this very nice B&B. Good location, free parking outside, and a lovely full English breakfast. Highly recommended.

The owner is lovely, and the rooms are immaculate, modern and comfortable, without feeling basic or bare. It’s a great place to stay. The Dutch word ‘gezellig’ is hard to translate, but this place captures it: welcoming, cosy and casually hospitable.

I stayed two nights while walking Hadrian’s Wall. Excellent stay, great value, and a lovely host. 10/10.

Leanne really made our stay special. She was welcoming and incredibly helpful, always ready with advice and checking that we had what we needed. She even helped us with our luggage after the airline lost it. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit, and breakfast was fresh, generous and delicious, a perfect start to the day. We had a wonderful stay at this B&B in Carlisle and highly recommend it if you’re visiting. You’ll be well looked after.

We parked on the street, then dashed inside to get a permit for the night. The place is beautiful, and our room was absolutely lovely. Breakfast was spot on, and we didn’t hear a peep all night. We’d definitely recommend it.
