Everything you could want was there, which is especially nice in a self-catering place. It’s a real gem, lovely and clean, and I’d happily stay again. I have three small dogs at home, though, and don’t know how many dogs they allow, so that would affect whether I could bring them. Part of me wishes it were winter so I could light the fire!

I had a great time at the wedding, but that was mostly because of the people I was with, rather than the venue itself.

I visited for the craft fair and enjoyed a wander around. The gardens are lovely, and the water features and walled garden are stunning. The Stately House has been renovated really well.
10/10
It was a truly exceptional stay. I genuinely felt like a guest in the family’s home.

The grounds were lovely on the hot day I visited, with tall trees and colourful shrubs all around. I was there for a fair at this old-fashioned hall, so I can’t say anything about the rooms or general service. The cafe, though, had the relaxed feel you’d hope for.
