Inglenook Guest House

Breakfast was a real treat, especially the mushrooms, which were out of this world. I’m usually hard to please at breakfast, so that says a lot. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and our room at Inglenook Guesthouse was spotless and wonderfully quiet. You can tell they care about the small details. We loved our relaxing stay and would highly recommend it.

Tim and Zena gave us such a warm welcome, and the accommodation was lovely. We had beautiful views from the rooms. The only location issue for us was that we’d have preferred to be higher up in the village. We needed our son-in-law to drive us to the top of main St, so my husband could manage the walk back down to our accommodation at the end of the day. Thanks for a lovely stay, and we’d recommend it.

Breakfast alone was an experience, with loads of choices, generous servings and delicious fresh food. Zena’s porridge and Tim’s scrambled eggs were especially good. Tim and Zena are kind, warm, fun hosts, and we enjoyed chatting with them during our stay at Inglenook Guest House. Tim also shared local tips that made our trip extra special. We loved the Yorkshire Dales and will be back, and we’ll stay here again.

The views from the bedroom, bathroom and terrace were amazing, and the house was clean with comfortable beds and lots of thoughtful touches. Tim and Zena were lovely, welcoming hosts. It’s well placed for village amenities, walks and nearby attractions. Breakfast was superb, with generous servings of fresh local produce. This is the best B&B we’ve stayed at, and we’d thoroughly recommend it.
