Marian Cottage

We stayed in this lovely cottage from Friday to Monday morning. It’s in a fantastic spot, with great walks nearby, and the falls are a must. Pubs, restaurants, and shops are all within a short walk. The cottage was spotless and well equipped, and the host gave us a very warm welcome to her beautiful place. When we got home, we received a text to say someone had left a bunch of keys behind. Ingleton is a fantastic place to visit in its own right, with local scenery, walks, and caves all worth exploring. There are also plenty of good places to eat in and around the village. We had a lovely weekend in the cottage, which was delightful, clean, and brilliantly located. Caroline is an enthusiastic host who’s thought of everything for a cosy stay. The beds are comfortable, and we enjoyed using the Aga, which gave the meat eaters in the family perfectly crisp bacon. On arrival, there was delicious homemade cake and fresh eggs, too.

A lovely, clean cottage with everything you need, and a very welcoming owner. It’s within walking distance of the village, with good walks, nice pubs, and cafes nearby. Well worth the money, and I’d definitely come back 😊
