The haggis lasagna was seriously filling, and I couldn't manage dessert afterwards. The charcuterie board was the best I've had in ages, so I'll be back this week for another one, and dessert this time. The food was first class and properly homemade, with such pleasant, excellent staff. Thank you.

The pub had a great feel to it afterwards, and Cairn hotel really does feel warm and friendly, just like Carrbridge. We had brilliant service from the restauranteur and waiting staff. And the meal was second to none: the best fish and chips I've ever had, even coming from the coast. I only wish I'd ordered dessert.

My mother and I would definitely stay at the Cairn Hotel again. The building is beautiful and the location is great, but what mattered most to us was the staff. Nothing is perfect in life, and the friendly people who kept trying to make sure we were okay meant a lot. About 90% of them did that exceptionally well. Alice, our waitress, was someone we fell in love with, and deputy-manager Reese acted as quickly as he spoke to make us comfortable at every turn. We stayed for a week and had chosen certain things in advance for my elderly mother's comfort. It turned into quite an adventure. Cold conditions, things that didn't work, odd restaurant experiences, dodgy Wifi, an early-morning false fire alarm, and no smart TV all faded into insignificance thanks to the people looking after us. Warmest hugs to everyone at the Cairn hotel, and we'll definitely be back! Sarah and June.

My friend and I came across this lovely, quaint restaurant and bar while out driving. We both had sticky toffee pudding after our mains, steak and ale pie for me and Angus burger for my friend. The food was delicious and the staff super friendly. It's dog friendly too. I can't recommend it enough, and I'm sure we'll be back.

Our family of four loved staying here. The countryside views made for a calm, relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were warm and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It's cozy, clean, and ideally placed for an easy trip to Landmark Forest Theme Park, which was perfect for the kids. The food was a real highlight: crispy, perfectly cooked fish and chips, tender juicy sirloin steak, and a hearty, rich steak & ale pie. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. This place is a hidden gem, highly recommended!
