Leonardo Hotel Sheffield

The breakfast was a real plus, and my friend appreciated having gluten-free choices. The beds and pillows were very comfortable too, and the room was clean, a decent size for three adults though not especially spacious. It was quiet, the staff were smiley, and the hotel was handy for Sheffield's theatres. We were only there for one night, so didn't have time to ask reception about the room being set up for two rather than three. There were only two sets of towels and two portions of tea bags, bottled water and biscuits, and no toiletries. Had there been enough for all three of us, I would've rated the stay five stars. We appreciated being offered late checkout and a voucher for coffee and a discount at the bar, even though we didn't get a chance to use either.

The staff are what made this stay stand out. Everyone was warm and attentive, offered useful recommendations, and dealt with requests promptly. Check-in was easy, and housekeeping kept everything in perfect order throughout. My room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped, with lovely linen, a very comfortable bed, and careful touches in the lighting and amenities. The shared spaces felt elegant and welcoming, and the facilities were well kept without feeling crowded. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh, high-quality food, plenty of variety, and attentive service. I had a memorable stay and look forward to coming back. I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel for its comfort, quality, and service. It felt like a home away from home.

The location was ideal for walking around the city, with plenty of parking nearby. My bed was very comfortable and the desk area worked well, though I would've preferred a more comfortable chair than the plastic one. Everything else in the room was clean and in good condition, apart from a cracked toilet cistern that kept leaking a little. Breakfast was fine, but could use more variety.

For a budget price, the hotel offered standard quality and good value, with friendly service near the station and city centre. The bathroom was a good size, and the TV was too. I liked having tea and coffee facilities with lots of teas to choose from. The shower could've had more pressure, and once the lift keycard didn't work.
