Michelle was so lovely and helpful, and we really enjoyed our room, evening meal, and amazing breakfast. This little hotel is a gem. It’s also not far from Castle Douglas and Loch Ken, which is ideal if you like watersports. We hope to visit again ...😍

I found this lovely little pub when a last minute trip left me needing a bed for the night. The rooms were clean and nice, and the people were friendly. The menu looked good, but I didn't get a chance to try the food. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The food was lovely, and breakfast was included. There’s free street parking, wifi, and very nice amenities. The hosts and welcoming ladies were wonderful, helping a traveller and going above and beyond. Rooms were cosy and clean. I’d recommend the Thisle Inn to anyone travelling around the area.

A good local pub with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and service that’s spot on. The food and drink are both great. What more do you want? ;)

We took three rooms for an overnight stay while attending a family occasion. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were, and the rooms themselves were comfortable too. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was lovely. We’ll definitely use this inn again on our next visit.
