The Sunday lunch was delicious, but the bar staff were rude and disrespectful. It spoiled the whole experience.

We had a really nice meal here on a Friday evening. The mains were perfect and came in big portions, and we liked the starters too. A live singer arrived with a guitar, which was a lovely surprise and made the evening even better. The staff were polite and served us well. It's a quaint little pub, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The servings are so generous you'll leave with a full stomach. Service was fantastic too, with the staff always ready to help at a moment's notice. A lovely country pub in Cavendish, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Five stars all around.

My wife and I popped in for a light lunch today and will definitely visit again. The host was very pleasant and welcoming, as was Sam behind the bar. I had scampi with salad and herb new potatoes, and my wife had a ploughman's. It was excellent. Dave & Jenny
