As a vegetarian, I’m glad the Nag's Head always has at least three vegetarian or vegan mains, plus even more choices for starters. The food is excellent, and it’s a fantastic country pub with well-presented rooms. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and nicely kept, with a good range of tea and coffee. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and courteous. A real find, highly recommended.

We took our dogs along, sat outside for dinner, and afterwards they loved having a dip in the river. The food at the nags head was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing time and highly recommend the place. Thank you so much xxx

Breakfast was excellent, with juices, water, cereals, a full Welsh breakfast, toast, and plenty of marmalade and jam to choose from. I spent one evening at this lovely gastro pub bed & breakfast. The ensuite room was spotless and had lots of tea and coffee choices, biscuits, a large bottle of water, and complimentary toiletries. A lovely overnight stay.

We celebrated our anniversary with dinner here, and the whole evening was faultless. The service was spot on, and all three courses were delicious, nicely presented, and a good size. Thanks, Nags Head, for a lovely evening.

My partner declared, ten minutes into the meal, “I think this is actually the best katsu curry I've had.” We came for dinner together and both thought the food was great. There’s plenty of car parking, the pub has a really nice classic feel, and the meal was very good value.
