A quiet caravan park, with the beach and all the amenities close by. Great place.

I was there in mid-May and it was nice and quiet. There are lots of caravans around, and mine was nearly new. A clean, well-located place for a night or a few, and a handy base for exploring the surrounding area. The sandy beach is just a few minutes away. Recommended. Regards.

The beach is absolutely beautiful. The site itself feels a bit dated, especially the original section by the main entrance, and could do with being brought up to the newer part’s standard. Parking is also a problem when it’s busy. It’d be better if the grass between the caravans were parking spaces, as it can be hard to find a spot.

The fish and chips were amazing, especially the really crispy batter. Best chippy I’ve ever had. Highly recommend, and I’ll be back.

The Golden Anchor is a chilled-out, peaceful place, with a lovely clean caravan in a great location. The beach is only two minutes away. We had two bulldogs with us.
