The clubhouse has a friendly feel, and the staff are welcoming and there when you need something. Food’s good and the prices are reasonable. When the park’s in season, breakfast is excellent. A nice place to unwind during a stay here, and well worth visiting. Sam Wallis

It’s close to the sea, and although Fantasy Island is a bit far away, you can still walk there. A nice, quiet place.

The park’s clean and well looked after, with a family show bar, entertainment through the week and weekends, and food served too. It’s handy for Fantasy Island, the market and other amenities. There’s a way through to the beach with steps, so it won’t suit wheelchairs or people with walking difficulties. If that’s manageable, you can enjoy a lovely sea-view walk to Chapel St Leonard’s.

The area itself was nice and close to pubs, but our stay and the staff were awful. The caravan was dirty, and when I complained, its owner was rude. They even turned up at 8am on Sunday to have a go at me for making the complaint. Reception didn’t seem bothered and said, “It’s private caravan, we can’t do a lot.” It’s on their site, but they didn’t seem to care. I’ll be going elsewhere.

A lovely site in the quieter end of Ingoldmells. There’s a fishing lake, plus a bar, cafe, laundrette, small arcade and onsite entertainment. You can also get to the beach by some steps. I’d recommend it for families and couples.
