We had a lovely stay, and the owners were so friendly and helpful. They even sorted out a taxi when we were stuck in Seahouses after dinner and couldn't find a way back. The room was lovely, with a sea view and a deck that caught the sun, and breakfast was brought right to us. It was very quiet, and they gave us maps and tips on places to visit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A handy little base for seeing the Northumberland coast, with most places a reasonable distance away. The owners were friendly, helpful and full of useful information. Breakfast came to the room, and there’s a nice balcony to sit and eat on in the morning. I’m not sure how that works when it rains, but it’s a nice place to stay.

We’ve stayed at this lovely boutique B&B four times now, and it’s been impeccable every visit. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy, and the breakfast is superb. There’s a nice patio to sit out and relax, too. Richard and Sandra are lovely hosts. I wish every place we stayed paid this much attention to detail. If it’s available, book it!

We stayed in Haven and couldn’t fault it. It’s a gorgeous little cottage with two B&B rooms, and ours had a hot tub on the balcony plus lots of thoughtful touches. The hosts clearly put effort into making the stay memorable. You can choose when your fresh, home-cooked breakfast is brought to your room. It’s easy to reach just off the A1 and works well for anyone hoping to see the stars, though the hosts can’t control that. A great find, and we’ll be back.

Richard and Sandra gave us a really warm welcome, and the local taxi company was great too. We had a fantastic anniversary night in Haven, with its private balcony, hot tub and ensuite wet room. There was also a fridge stocked with complimentary juice, water, fresh milk, chocolate, sweets and more. Breakfast the next morning was huge and delivered to our room. It’s just off the A1 north of Alnwick, but still very quiet.
